Year 6 Home Learning 26.4.19
Date: 27th Apr 2019 @ 9:56am
Hello Year 6!
Home Learning this week involves the following tasks:
1. Have fun.
2. Have some more fun.
3. Lead your own learning and revision. You should know, by now, which areas of your learning you need to work on. Use whichever resources you need to, to do this.
My advice would be to perhaps focus on SPaG and reading first, then maths after. I'll set another practice activity on SPaG.com. Polish your 2a, 2b and 2d Content Domain reading skills using your books. Are you confident with your arithmetic skills? Check your books to go over your sections linked to Number & Place Value, Calculations and Fractions, Decimals and Percentages. Then look at Measurements. They'll make up the bulk of the maths questions.
4. Wonder - read to the end of page 145 for Tuesday. That's about 10 pages but these will be the pages we use for the reading warm-up on Tuesday.
Thanks guys.
See you Monday.
P.S. Remember, if anyone wants to pop in and have some 1:1 SPaG on Monday morning, the door will be open from 8:30.
P.P.S. I demand that you be having some fun this weekend.
