Here We Go! Homelearning
Date: 13th Nov 2017 @ 2:07pm
Hello Year 3!
You have settled in well to your first year in KS2 – well done and thank you for your effort!
It’s important that you take pride in ALL your work both in school and at home – using pencil and neat joined handwriting.
Homework is given out on a Wednesday and must be returned by the following MONDAY.
1. Homework book Design
Please design your homework book – be creative and ensure your name is clearly visible on the cover!
2. English / Topic
As we discussed in class, I’d like you to design a poster to show the changes from the Old Stone Age (Paleolithic) to New Stone Age (Neolithic). This will go in your Topic books so it must look outstanding! How did the land change? How did their homes change? How did their tools change? How did their clothes change? Were there any other changes?

Non-negotiables
Reading: You should be reading every day (library book or one from home).
Maths: TT RockStars Play as much as possible!
Spellings: From next week you will be given weekly spellings to work on.
Xmas Songs: Practise your songs (To be handed out on 10.11.17).
Reminders
Could all parents remind their children to bring their planners in every day which should be signed by a parent/carer to acknowledge that they have seen what needs to be done this week please.
Library is every FRIDAY so please remind your children to bring their book back to school to return or renew.
Please watch this video to see how your child needs to add and subtract numbers up to 3-digits on a number line.
Thank you.
